Vietnam grant e-Visa and open tourism market again since July

The Government has decided to issue e-visa to citizens from 80 countries since July 1 this year, according to its latest Resolution No. 79/NQ-CP. It is one of the most important decisions to open the tourism market after the Covid-19 pandemic. The determination and effort are bringing promising results to Vietnam that to be the first Southeast Asian country to pull its tourism sector out the pits, ahead of major Southeast Asia nations such as Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines that are still under various degrees of lockdown.

These countries are:

Visitors with e-visas can enter Viet Nam at eight international airports, or arrive via land at 16 international border gates and via sea at 13 ports across the country.

Specifically, e-visas are accepted at Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Cam Ranh, Da Nang, Cat Bi, Can Tho, Phu Quoc, and Phu Bai international airports.
