(Creatrip.com) Our first destination is Sanmeoru Farm. Meoru is what Koreans call wild grapes. At Sanmeoru Farm, meoru wine is made from the freshly picked meorus. You can also see how meoru wine is made. There is a program where you get to make meoru jam. I will be tasting freshly made meoru wine and take a bottle home that has a picture of me printed. Don’t forget; you have to be over 19!

Majang Lake is located in Paju and is famous for its clean water. There are beautiful parks around the lake, but the must-see is the Suspension Bridge. The length of this bridge is 220m and is the longest suspension bridge in Korea. You might get scared because of its height and length, but I feel it’s worth a challenge. You could almost feel like you’re walking on water.

Byokchoji Garden has to be the most stunning garden in Paju. You will be able to see many kinds of marvellous plants and flowers. The unique thing about Byokchoji Garden is that it is fused with both Korean and western styles of gardening. In some parts of the garden, you might feel like you’re in a queen’s garden. The gorgeous sculptures and ponds are just magnificent. In other parts, you can observe the traditional Korean style of gardening. These were just a few places that I was able to explore. If you are a nature fan, you’re going to love this place!
